Primordials are inherently connected to the Material Plane of Faem, having been birthed alongside it.
Unable to reach divinity and never aspiring to do so, Primordials exist as forces of nature and rarely take an interest in mortals outside of the ones that pledge themselves to them.
Primordials are commonly communed with via the creation of Warlock Pacts and for many of them, that is enough.
Cry for that which thine has lost. For you may not know when you will lose again.
With the first sentient fey came the idea of the "hart"— ancient Sylvan for the concept of the soul. Fey mothers warned their children to shield their harts from malignancy, trusting in the natural protection of the "seer"— ancient Sylvan for "guardian". The "Guardian of Souls"— Hartseer— was trusted to guide all down the paths that would keep them from dangers that could destroy their harts.
It is unknown what precisely transpired, but the reckoning that took place when the Hartseer was found to be the very malignant spirit that elders cautioned against was unparalleled in its gravity. From then on, the Hartseer became known as the "Lord of Grief". No more was he trusted as the defender of lifeblood. The Hartseer was now known to bring ruin, to railroad the fervent down paths that none can follow. He revels in your sadness, bathes in your loss.
And when you think you've lost all you have... the Hartseer still takes.
Lifeblood's flow begets crave and creation, yet thy iniquity is of thine own making.
In the throes of Faem's awakening, the concept of "vein"— forgotten tongue for the hidden channels of vitality— emerged alongside the "shara," the concept of the eternal weaving of blood and soul. This very melding of concept bore Veinshara, the silent guardian entrusted to shepherd the raw essence that binds flesh to spirit, guiding the world's nascent life through unseen fonts of life, a benevolent being amidst the chaotic throes of early history.
As mortals arose and grasped at forbidden arts, Veinshara was warped under the weight of acrid ambition. What once nurtured grew insatiable, feasting on the bloody offerings afforded it. The Dark Period's godly wars unleashed blood sorcery in its raw glory, rousing Veinshara like a bloodthirsty predator.
From that awakening, Veinshara quickly became known as the "Devourer of Essence", No longer the gentle guardian of life's flow, it now lures the desperate with promises of crimson might, empowering blood sorcerers to spill souls in its name. It revels in the drain and savors the ebb.
It is said that at the beginning of Material itself, there was an eldritch being with the ability to grant boons to mortals. The Sidewinder Isles flourished as creatures from across Faem came to receive the benefit of the being, naming it Daolothonanon, meaning “Provider of the Path” in dwarvish.
Eventually, all those with Daolothonanon’s gifts were killed at the seat of its power, giving way to a new eternity that now saw Daolothonanon as an arbiter of the eldritch.

Known as the "Matron of the Eternal Night", the Nightsister has been told as a nightmarish bedtime story for thousands of years. Few know the actual history of this mysterious titan, but many swear they see her in the shadows wherever they look.
Some Vicarians still speak of the time when the Nightsister threatened to absorb the god Nekran, causing the first and last alliance between he and his brother Solatis to vanquish her. None know, however, that the Nightsister survived this encounter, withdrawing into the Nebulae to rest until she could next arise to her ancient purpose: to swallow the night whole.
Originally a silver dragon named "Hosea" before living as a hadozee named Hosantaer "Advent" Stintlerelt, Adventus is one of few primordials who found an odd in-between state of being, stuck between immortality and mortality. This state transformed Advent into the first of The Guides, a sect of primordials that was transformed instead of created.
Adventus is known to live at the edge of the world, at the center of the aptly named region of Adventis. He provides guidance and protection to all those that wander.
